A Helping Hand staff members are thoughtful, empathetic individuals who are motivated and committed to providing the best service possible. Applicants must possess the highest degree of integrity, effective communication skills, a passion for working with older adults, and a commitment to community connection. A compassionate disposition is essential, as is the natural ability to treat clients with care, respect, and dignity.

 

We employ both Home Care Companions – AND – Certified Nursing Assistants on a rolling basis.

A Helping Hand Nonprofit Home Care Services

Certified Nursing Assistants are required to be licensed through North Carolina. CNA’s may include individuals who have established a career in in-home or facility-based care. They are also nursing and pre-med students who have obtained a CNA license to further their medical training

Companions may include retirees with an active professional history or college students who are preparing for careers in healthcare, social work or public health. Most importantly, all of our companions exhibit a passion for sharing life and genuine connection with our clients
